HOW IT WORKS
How ShadyCut turns
streams into first cuts.
01 — UNDERSTAND THE SESSION
We make sense of everything.
ShadyCut first works out what is actually happening across the entire session. It listens to what the streamer says, tracks who is speaking, follows gameplay activity and progression, notices reactions and face-cam activity, and combines important audio and visual signals with what is happening on screen.
That means understanding the people, the gameplay, and the context around each moment — including items, locations, characters, objectives, and events — so later decisions are based on what the moment actually means, not just how loud or flashy it looks.
Yes, it can tell when you start swearing too.
02 — SEE THE BIGGER PICTURE
We build a complete view of what happened.
ShadyCut looks across the entire session instead of judging moments in isolation. It connects what the streamer says with what happens in the game, tracks how the session develops over time, and builds a bird’s-eye view of the important activity, changes, decisions, and context.
At this stage, it is not trying to force everything into a story. The goal is simpler: understand the full session well enough that the story can be found from the whole picture, not guessed from a handful of exciting moments.
03 — FIND THE STORY
We figure out what the session is really about.
Once the whole session is understood, ShadyCut looks for the narrative inside it. It identifies the goals, problems, decisions, setbacks, turning points, and payoffs that connect separate moments into something worth watching.
It works out what the viewer needs to see for that story to make sense — what establishes the situation, what changes it, what needs context, and what eventually pays off.

04 — EDITABLE TIMELINE
You get an editable first cut, ready to refine.
ShadyCut turns the finished story plan into a structured timeline you can actually work with. The important scenes are already selected and arranged, the supporting context is in place, and editorial guidance stays attached where it matters.
It is not a locked AI-generated video. You can open the cut, review the decisions, move scenes, tighten pacing, restyle it, or change the direction entirely.
