These Terms of Use govern access to the ShadyCut website, private beta, and related services. By using ShadyCut, you agree to these terms.

About ShadyCut

ShadyCut is an AI-assisted video editing system designed to help turn long-form recordings, including gaming streams, into structured proposed edits. ShadyCut may provide story analysis, editing recommendations, project files, timelines, or other generated output.

Private beta

ShadyCut is currently under active development. Beta features may change, contain errors, become unavailable, or produce incomplete or unexpected results.

Access to the private beta is provided at ShadyCut’s discretion and may be limited, suspended, or withdrawn at any time.

Your content

You retain ownership of the videos, audio, streams, project files, and other original content you provide to ShadyCut.

By submitting content for processing, you give ShadyCut permission to process that material as necessary to provide, test, evaluate, and improve the requested service.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to submit and use the content you provide.

Generated output

ShadyCut-generated stories, editing plans, timelines, suggestions, and other outputs are intended to assist creators and editors. You are responsible for reviewing generated output before publishing or using it in a final production.

ShadyCut does not guarantee that generated output will be complete, accurate, suitable for every purpose, or free from editorial or technical errors.

Acceptable use

You may not use ShadyCut to:

• violate applicable law;
• infringe the rights of others;
• interfere with or attempt to compromise the service;
• misuse, reverse engineer, or abuse access to private beta systems except where permitted by law.

Availability and changes

ShadyCut may modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, particularly during beta development.

No warranty

ShadyCut is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during development. To the extent permitted by law, no guarantee is made that the service will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Limitation of responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ShadyCut and ShadyGG Studio are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from use of the service, generated output, or inability to access the service.

Changes to these terms

These Terms may be updated as ShadyCut develops. Continued use of the service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
